Clean Science and Technology Limited reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue for Q2 FY27, according to management comments in an earnings call transcript. Standalone revenue rose 11% sequentially to INR 226 crores. Consolidated revenue rose 23% year over year to INR 295 crores.
The company said its HALS business drove growth. HALS revenue doubled from a year earlier, and management said H1 FY27 volumes reached 67% of the full-year FY26 total. Export sales rose to 73% of standalone business, up from 64% in Q1 FY27.
Management said the company reached PAT-positive status in the quarter. Standalone PAT was INR 55 crores, a 24% margin.
Margins came under pressure. Managing director and promoter Siddharth Sikchi said the company could not pass price increases to customers. Management said raw material costs for phenol, acetone and methanol were 50% to 100% higher year over year. Sikchi said the company does not want to be the first to raise prices because that could cost market share. He said low Chinese prices limit any pass-through.
Standalone EBITDA margin was 36%, or INR 82 crores. Consolidated EBITDA was INR 92 crores, with a 31% margin. Sikchi said absolute profit held up because of volume growth, even as the percentage margin fell.
Shares fell 3.32% to $715.6 after the update, according to the supplied market data. The stock trades well below its 52-week high of $1,026.6. The source does not report actual EPS or revenue figures, so it does not show whether the company beat or missed forecasts.
